In order to uplift the downtrodden in the rural areas and tap the talents to bring them to the mainstream of the society
Basavanna Education Rural & Urban Development Society, R/O Noubad. T & Dist: Bidar. Is a gross roots community development organization with a focus on the development of the rural and urban community? The organization was started by making a group of service minded and sociology background, with a mission of the empowering the under privileged sections of the community especially in the rural areas of the Bidar Taluk of Bidar District which is one of backward district in north Karnataka.

To work with vulnerable rural communities of degraded and drought-prone regions to enable them to organize themselves into viable institutions

To empower these communities to place legitimate demands on the system to address developmental needs for sustainable livelihoods.

Untouchability is a curse in our country so in order to eradicate this curse, Our Ngo conducted a program to give awareness about untouchability and educate the people to eradicate the untouchability .About 125+ beneficiaries attended the program

Gadinada Utsava was conducted in the Border areas of Bidar to encourage the talents in arts and crafts of rural youth and women. About 500 people participated in the program
