An Association for diffusion of knowledge and dissemination of information for promotion of rural Reconstructions and development

Jana Chetana is a combination of “JANA “means “People” and “CHETANA” means “Consciousness”. Jana Chetana is therefore a social action group and believes in an integrated approach in the transformation of Adivasi Dalit Bahujans to a better life. The Jana Chetana was constituted in 1984 as an association for dissemination of knowledge and diffusion of information for promotion of Rural Reconstruction and Rural Development. The own Administrative Office is situated at Door No.1-06C, Near Gowri Hall, Annavaram Village, Rajam Road, PALAKONDA – 532440, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh, India.

OUR MISSION

Jana Chetana is a society dedicated to promoting education, health, water, sanitation, hygiene and overall improvement of the rural, urban, coastal and tribal population in India. Thus, working for the empowerment of marginalized communities, especially the women and children
