About Us

Margadarshi Charitable Trust (MCT)

We work towards the welfare of the poor to create a better and developed society.

Margadarshi Charitable Trust is being registered under Karnataka Societies act on 02-03-2019 no. IV 431/2018-19. Our organization aims towards helping the people in need of care and protection. The main aim of the trust shall be social activities like education support for the poor, health care for the needy people employments support for deserved poor people to open and run old age home, orphan school, and health care centers. We also support small-scale centers business support etc. We inaugurated Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane Old age home on 11-12-2019 with the collaboration of Rotary club, Kalaburagi. We work towards reloading a better society in order to develop a better tomorrow.

Our Programs

World Senior Citizens’ Day

Every year on 21 August, World Senior Citizens’ Day is observed annually to recognize the contribution of elders towards society and its people. The day is dedicated to increasing awareness about issues like elder abuse and age deterioration that affect elderly people. At our old age home, we celebrated World Senior Citizens day and Mrs. Vijaylaxmi project Director distributed the sweets to all.

Eye operation

We have taken bold steps with support of Govt. District Hospital. 4 members have Eye Operated among two were blind, after operating they can see, thanks to Dr. Rudrwadi sir . and All Govt. Doctors and staffs.

Monthly Health Check Up camp

We are conducting health check up camp in Nemmadi Hiriyar mane every second week of the month. Dr. Nagaya Shetti and Dr. Abresh Shetti Brothers visiting the old age home and do the free health check up and give the medicine too.

Independence Day Celebration

15th August 2020, we had National day programme at Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane Old age home .Independence day celebrated our Rotary club President Mr. Sandyaraj Samueal was Chief Guest he hosted the flag 1st time in old age home he was very happy to be in this celebration, in this program Mr. Basvantappa Jamadar spooked about independence day, our project director Smt. Vijayalaxmi facilitate the programme.

Celebration of Environmental Day

We have planted the 50 trees in the Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane Campos. Mr. Yada Martin planted the tree. We respect the nature and we love the trees so in the remembers of Environmental day purpose we planted 10 Mango Trees, 10 Crusted apple tree, 10 Peril fruit tree, 10 show trees, 5 Lemon trees, 1 Aam tree ,1 Jack-fruit tree and 3 other trees.

Eye check up camp

District health and family welfare department of Kalaburgi ,Margadarshi Charitable Trust, Rotary Club of Gulbarga, Anugrha Eye Hospital, Boruka Nethralya and Margadarshi Society jointly organized Eye camp on 8/2/2020 morning 9.30 to 4.00 PM.This programme inaugurated by Dr. Rajkumar district Leprosy and Affeem control officer kalaburgi and he has donated Rs. 10.000/- to the Nemmad Hyriyara Mane old age home. Rotary club President Mr. Sandyaraj Samuael Margadarshi Society Director Mr. Anandraj Dr. Nuthan and Dr. Veresh checkuped 43 patients and 11 person for eligible for the Eye operation and took them to the Boruka hospital and operated successfully on 10-02-2020 this programme conducted by Smt. Vijaylaxmi Project Director Margadarshi charitable Trust Kalaburgi.

Inauguration of Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane

Nemmadi Hiriyar Mane Old age home inaugurated on 11-12-2019.By Eda Martin Superintendent of Police Kalaburgi District with collaboration of Rotary club Kalaburagi. This program saw a great success as it was made in towards the betterment of the society. Every program towards social development is always reached to the people.
