ABOUT
Karnakaka Thanda Development Corporation (KTDC) undertakes various initiatives for developing basic infrastructure, providing education and social community development for the Tanda community including Lamanis and Banjaras. SRUDA builds awareness and conduct programs, so that the government initiatives reach and benefit the Tanda community. Various project training and information is provided to the members of the Gram Panchayat and the general public. Unemployed young women are trained through skill development activities and works in government and private institutions. So far we have reached more than 3000+ beneficiaries.

<p><span style="font-family: "Segoe UI";">We have organized a literacy program for illiterate members of Shtri shakti self-help group at </span><span style="color: rgb(33, 37, 41); font-family: "Segoe UI";">Lingasuguru. So far we have reached 20 women from this activity.</span><br></p>

In the year 2019-20, the function of District Advisors Office of District Adult Education Officers in the villages of Lingasuguru Taluk, Guntagolla, Eachanal, and Gorebala Muski Taluk, Sarjapur, Kannala, Grama Panchayat was made available to the members of the Self Help Group and the link document. The program is to educate illiterate women in every self-help group in each village panchayat and to educate them through Anganwadi Aspirational and Institutional survey. A recruitment drive also took place at the village.
Relief for neighboring victims

Thousands of families have been relieved by our organization for providing relief to from the rain in Madaragaddy, Venkammanagady, Kadadargaddi, Karakalgaddi, Yargodi villages under the Basavasagar Reservoir in the Lingasugur taluk of Raichur district. Thousands of homes have been damaged by floods across Karnataka, some houses have been completely burnt, others have been partially demolished. The government has decided to give provide Rs.5 lakh compensation to the A and B category homes who suffered full blown damage, while the C category houses were provided with Rs50,000. At that time, our from organization Secretary Basavaraj Kattimani, Amarayya Ganti, Goutamakumar, Kasturchawan, Venkoba Gudadanal provided relief to the one affected.
