Srusti Swayam Seva Samsthe(R)

In 2017, Srusti Swayam Seva Samsthe was registered as an NGO under the Karnataka Society Registration Act 1961. The samsthe started with organizing Health Check-ups and Awareness Camps in Shikaripura(T) of Shivamogga District. Currently, we are focussed on conducting Awareness programs on the environment, child rights, women's health concerned issues, Job Mela and health checkups such as -Eye, Dental, BP, Sugar and blood donation camp. So far we have conducted 7 health camps in Kapanhalli, Chunchinakoppa, Arasingere, Nagihalli and Bengaluru region. So far we have reached more than 10000+ benificaries.

OUR MISSION

To strengthen the struggles of rural, poor, oppressed, exploited people of underprivileged backward communities for their empowerment and survival by developing alternative means of livelihood with full access to education, health care, income-generating facilities and self-help initiatives.

Environmental Awareness Program

We organized an environmental awareness program by Shri Harish G.K - Environmentalist for school students, To understand the fragility of our environment and the importance of its protection.

Women Health Awareness Program

16/01/2020

Women’s Health Awareness Program was held on the 16th of Jan, 2020 at Chikkakalavatti, More than 40+ participants attended the program. Dr Dakshini, MBBS OB-GYN's discussed a plethora of topics including gynecological problems, knee exercises, lifestyle modifications and diet plans with the participants. The program was interactive with a “Question and Answer” session.

Free dental checkup and surgery camp

We organized a Free dental checkup and surgery camp at Nagihalli around 150 people were benefited from this camp. On these camp, we clinically diagnosed, each and every individual for dental diseases, people suffering from the major dental disease were referred to the hospital;

Eye Checkup

We organized a free eye check-up camp in collaboration with a leading eye care-Modi Charitable Eye Hospital, Bangalore. The camp was organized in the month of June 2018 at Kapanhalli. To highlight the importance of taking adequate care for eyesight and wanted to ensure that the community has sufficient awareness of eye care and has a healthy vision. This program was aimed at providing the community with the status of their eyesight, making them aware of necessary care for healthy eyes and offer solutions to those who required it.
