We try to improve the lifestyle of women by educating and empowering

We empower women from underserved areas.We are working with women to generate awareness regarding their legal rights. Keeping in view of the present state of economic liberalization, We are also involved in equipping self-employed women by developing their skills we train poor women and provide them opportunities for self-employment to improve their social and economic status. Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) have been recognized as an effective strategy for the empowerment of women in rural areas as they bring together women from all walks of life to fight for their cause. Physically vulnerable, homeless women and female youth are at heightened risk of sexual assault, human trafficking, and violence in its many forms, To avoid these issues night shelter accommodation is also facilitated to women.They have lead a way upto 8000+ beneficiaries through their interventions at Bagalkot.

DRP-DEVADASI REHABILITATION PROGRAM

Theprogramwasspeciallyplanned&preparedfordevadasiwomen.WiththehelpofKarnatakaStateWomenDevelopmentCorporation(KSWDC)Bangalore and Government of Karnataka In this program, the women from various areas of the district were motivated to give up their devadasi practice. EDP training included IG activities, marketing tricks for quality products, etc was highlighted in the program. 





SUVARNA VASTRA NEETI

This program was undertaken with the support of Handloom & Textile department (Govt of Karnataka) in which the school dropout BPL family students of 18 to 34 ages are strengthened with proper training of sewing machine operation for 45 days. In this training beneficiaries learned various aspects of the sewing machine like how to operate machines, cuttings & designing clothes as per costumer's requirement with soft skills. Certificates from department were distributed & few got opportunities in garment industries.
