About Us
Vatsalya Social and Charitable Trust
Vathsalaya Social and Charitable Trust (VSCT) was founded by like-minded friends to address the issues of vulnerable sections of society. We initiated many programs and learned many things from organizing the Environmental Awareness Program, Cultural Program, Free Medical Camp for Old Age People, and Vocational Training Program to achieve the objectives of the society.

Our Programs
Note Book Distribution to School Children
We supported school children by distributing the required notebooks as children of government schools were not in a situation to afford to purchase notebooks, hence we at Vathsalaya took this initiative in Dasanapura hobli.
Vocational Training Program
To enhance the skills of the youth in the focused region we conducted computer training 15 youths were trained for 4 months. Along with computer skills we provided soft skills for their personality development.
HIV/AIDS Awareness Program
To sensitize the masses about AIDS and issues related to stigma and discrimination, strengthening people's knowledge about preventive measures. We organized an awareness program on 12th December 2013 nearly 500 people participated in the said camp.
Science and Technology exhibition program
To enhance the knowledge and interest in science and technology among the students we organized one day program in Dasanapura. Students and teachers from different schools of Dasanapura hobli took part in the program. More than 250 students participated, apart from the general public, parents also visited the exhibition and expressed their gratitude to VSCT for the initiative taken.
Free Medical Camp for Old Age People
“Health is wealth” in the old age is very much needed to address the health issues of the senior citizens but people in the rural areas were not affordable, Hence VSCT initiated health check-up camps in the rural areas of the focused region and provided free medicine to the needy.

Grocery Kits Distribution
We distributed dry grocery items for poor people at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. And we reached around 50 people through this event.Members
